Elizabeth Jaeger’s poetically dissonant sculptures and installations shape emotional encounters between object, architecture, and the viewer’s body. At the center of her practice is an investigation of empathy, engaging both social expectations and the interconnectedness of all beings. Strangely familiar, her uncanny, subtly surreal works create psychological spaces that often stem from personal experience or close observation. Through materials such as ceramic, metal, glass, and silk, Jaeger explores their poetic capacities while addressing themes of intimacy and impermanence.
